Qualified at Cambridge in 1979, David joined C. H. Design as
a partner in 1988 after working for a housing association and
a number of private practices.
David is primarily responsible for the
practice’s affordable
housing programme as well as for education projects and specialist
conservation and private housing commissions.
David is actively involved with the
R.I.B.A. at all levels including a recent term as Regional
Chairman. He is also Chairman
of the Solent Centre for Architecture and Design, and past chairman
of the Winchester and Eastleigh architects’ panel. His
other specialist areas include community involvement in architecture,
and Urban Design.
